November 8, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Michael ‘Mick’ Tallon on November 8, 2025 at the age of 77. Following a prolonged illness, Mick passed from this life, to find his much-deserved peace, into the next.
Mick was born on July 24, 1948, in Kelvington, Saskatchewan, to parents Lenore Kowalski and Art Tallon; he was predeceased by both of his parents, his sister Patricia, his brothers Jack and Jim and first wife Myrna.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years Julie Tallon, son Tim (granddaughter’s Alyssa and Margo, grandson Wyatt), son Jeff (wife Rae-Anne, granddaughter Stella, grandson Owen), sister-in-law Evelyn, and extended family. Also of great importance are Julie’s family, who welcomed Mick as one of their own, mother-in-law Margaret, sister-in-law Alison (Dean) and family, brother-in-law Jonathan (partner Julia) and family and Julie’s extended family.
Mick was a devoted and selfless husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, and seized every opportunity to show those he loved how and why we were important to him; we only had to ask, and he was there with whatever we needed – always early, until the job was done and often not leaving until he had made plans to see us again soon.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, Saskatchewan from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home.
While the pain of his passing now shrouds us in sorrow, we may take comfort in the knowledge that one day it will be replaced by the warmth of our memories; Mick, you are and will always be missed.
