Obituaries

Born February 2, 1956 and passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026 at 70 years young, late of Strasbourg, Saskatchewan.

Wade is survived by his mother Jean, who herself is 97 years young; sister-in-law Rose Ann (Gregory); brother-in-law Jeff Davies (Carla); Uncle Cliff (Barb) Krivak; numerous cousins; 8 nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews; and lots of special, lifelong friends.

Wade was predeceased by his father Joseph; all of his siblings Gregory, Carla, and twin brother Ward.

Wade grew up heavily into hockey. He played through childhood until into junior hockey. Wade loved travelling to hot sunny places to roast himself or to the mountains in B.C. If he wasn’t home or on a holiday he was most certainly camping, playing cards or gardening.

Wade also wore many hats in the work force. The one we all knew him best for was his renovation company, as it’s where he was in his happy place. No one could slow him there as he was even in process of renovating his own house at the time of his passing.

While Wade had no children of his own, he was the best Uncle and took extremely great care of his mother until his passing. He was a loving, caring man with a soft spot for animals, always feeding stray cats and built a winter shelter for them.

Graveside Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in honour of Wade. The family extend many thanks to the staff in the CCU at the Regina General Hospital for all of their kindness through these last few weeks.
