Vera Hildegarde Andrews (nee Yahnke), late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the age of 94 years.

Vera was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Andrews; her sons Ralph and Murray (Jane Johnson); sons-in-law Sid Gaudry and Earl Chase; parents Michael and Elizabeth Yahnke; siblings Evelyn (Frank) Werschler, Reinhold (Dinah) Yahnke, Ruth (Philip) Schick, John (Emma) Yanke, Ernest (Margaret) Yahnke, Pearl (Bill) Danchuk, Gladys (Ted) Kitsch, Edna (Gordon) Olm, Iris (Walter) Miller, Aradine (Bill) Smetaniuk and Verden (Carol) Yahnke.

Vera is survived by her children Caroline Gaudry, Myrtle Chase, Marilyn Filewich (Greg Rivett), Gloria (Brian) McIntyre and Derwood Andrews (Louella Dionne); grandchildren and great-grandchildren Gene Andres-Kiana, Jesse; Jacqueline and Matt McIlmoyl-Paige, Lucy, Keira, Henry; Nichole and Mike Diewold-Lauren, Thomas; Robert and Roxanne Gaudry-Joey, Jake; Christie Chase-Madison, Oliver; Candace and John Gietzel-Janaya, Halden, Johann, Lucca; Andrew and Erin Chase-Sarah, Trista, Jacob; Callan Filewich; Cayla Filewich; Carlin Filewich; Daniel McIntyre (Shaye Flaman)-Bert; Benjamin McIntyre (Heather Tulloch); Riley and Alyssa McIntyre-Katie; Deven and Cassandra Andrews-Kash; daughter-in-law Shannon Andrews; her brother Victor (Marion) Yahnke; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Special thanks to Sunset Care Home staff who have taken Mom under their wings, for all the care and love they showed our mother. They were her extended family.

Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 – 4th Avenue North, Regina, Saskatchewan. Interment will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery, MacNutt, Saskatchewan.
