April 2, 2024
Valerie Louise Morgan passed away peacefully on April 2, 2024 in Regina, SK at the age of 74 years surrounded by her cherished family. She was a wife, mother, incredible grandmother and dear friend.
Val is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 53 years Gerald Morgan and the family that filled her with such joy her son Jeffrey (Christeena), daughter Kelly (David) and grandchildren Kaitlyn, Ava, Alexander, Kiana and Liam; her brothers Rick (Leona) and Ron and sister-in-law Rene.
After retirement in 2007 Val spent countless hours in her sewing room. Always an avid sewer, she also found a passion for quilting. She filled her days walking, reading, listening to great music and always loved to watch the loons and the sunset at Crystal Lake, SK. She was the most amazing grandmother (best known as g-ma) to her precious five. Val made sure each of her grandchildren knew that they were special to her in their own way never missing a special event and always being present even when miles apart. G-ma will be deeply missed.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Val’s memory to the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit 3A, Regina, SK. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her angels on earth the palliative care nurses Ashley, Kara and Sheila for the support they provided during this difficult time.
