Sarjeant-Jenkins, Tristan Keswick

April 24, 2025

Tristan Keswick Sarjeant-Jenkins

Tristan Keswick Sarjeant-Jenkins was born on March 19, 1997 in Lancaster, England. In February of 2025 he was diagnosed with a rare blood condition combined with an autoimmune issue. After a valiant fight, Tristan passed away on April 24, 2025.

Left to remember and celebrate Tristan is his wife Katerina Luneng; parents and siblings Neil, Rachel, Rowan and Pippa Sarjeant-Jenkins; grandmother Peggy Sarjeant; aunt, uncle and cousins Juliet Sarjeant, Mike McKague, Isabel, Liam and Stella; aunt and uncle Nicola Sarjeant and Peter Ryan; uncle David Jenkins; aunt and cousins Justine Yaworski, Nyall and Sian; and the many friends Tristan made as he traveled through his life.

Tristan was a person full of ideas, passions, and opinions. He loved to learn, to debate, to discuss, and could talk for hours about religion, politics, hallucinogens and bees - and everything in between. He had esoteric tastes in music and art, always reaching for something just a bit different. Tristan's fascination with patterns and sounds was evident in his joy learning languages as varied as Welsh, Michif, and Sanskrit. This interest led him to a degree in modern languages from the University of Saskatchewan and then a programmer/analyst diploma from Saskatchewan Polytechnic. It was at the university that Tristan met Katerina, the love of his life. They married in July 2021, living in Saskatoon and Moose Jaw before moving to Regina in 2024.

Tristan's positive approach to life and his consideration of others was evident to the end - he tried to help out the nurses whenever he could and always spoke about the future.

The doctors and nurses at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina did everything they possibly could to help Tristan. Thank you for all you did as well as your care for Katerina. And a very special thank you to Dr. Kawari who was with Tristan from his admission to hospital in late January to his final day - your support and your care was amazing.

In lieu of flowers, for those who are able please consider donating blood through Canadian Blood Services. The kindness of so many anonymous blood donors kept Tristan alive and gave him the opportunity to fight.

A Private Celebration of Tristan's Life will be held at a later date.
