March 28, 2024
It is with heavy hearts we share that Thelma Ann Schier passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2024 in Regina, Saskatchewan at the age of 88.
Thelma is survived by her husband Max; sons Bob (Joanne) and Landon (Melanie); her brother Henry and her sister Ethel.
Thelma was a sweet and hardworking wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She and Max celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this past July. She loved reading, doing puzzles, cross country skiing, sewing, crocheting, knitting, cooking and shopping. She enjoyed being together with family and took great care in planning the menu. Her house was often the hub of happy family gatherings. She loved Jehovah and was active in her congregation. She kept her 4 granddaughters outfitted in beautiful dresses and scarves and loved face timing with her 2 great-granddaughters. The all-girl tradition continues. We remember her permed curls upswept with combs, a smart broach on her jacket and a spritz of Chanel No. 5. She was woven into our lives in so many ways and the moments left behind will always be in our hearts.
There will be a Zoom Memorial Service on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Zoom meeting id: 87607498739 and passcode: Thelma

I am so thankful that I was able to visit Thelma once more. We had a wonderful visit, laughing and reminiscing about younger times. She even remembered me which was so special. I am one who went to her place for lunch when in service. So wonderful to visit and always good food. Even Max did a good job when it was his turn! It will be a wonderful time for all of us when we see Thelma again, becoming perfect like all of us. Love to her family. 💕 Marie
