McKerlie, Terry

Terry McKerlie

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Terry McKerlie on February 9, 2025 surrounded by his wife and family at the age of 77.

Terry was born at home on the farm at Holdfast, SK, the 10th child to Daniel and Della (Nesbitt). He was predeceased by both his parents; his sisters Marjorie and Maxine, his brothers Keith, Bob, Danny and Bill; and grandchildren Jessika and Kaden.

He is survived by his wife Karen (Strachan); daughters Tracy (Stephen) and Connie (Dean); grandchildren Kellie (Sean) and Kolten, great-grandchildren Brooklynn and Lochlann; his sisters Winnie, Dot and Audrey and his brother Ronnie. He also leaves behind many extended family including sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, and friends.

Terry made many lifelong friends in his 35 year career at ISM. He was fortunate enough to retire early and enjoy his real passions of traveling, napping, golf, watching the Montreal Canadiens and spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the apples of his eye to whom he could never say no to. His legacy will continue through them.

A family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
