It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Roy Veerasammy on Friday, July 17, 2026. The reason for his passing was a hemorrhage in the brain. It was sudden and very sad.

Roy was predeceased by parents Ellick Veerasammy (1997) and Mary Veerasammy (2010).

Roy is remembered by his daughters Linda and Lisa Ramcharitar; his brothers Reynold, Raymond, Samuel, Desmond and Arnold; his sisters Lillet and Sandra. A special thank you to his great friend, Marlene Bartlett for her support.

Roy was born on August 29, 1951 at Corentyne, Guyana, South America. Roy worked on the Canadian railroads for 25 years.

His family would like to express their gratitude to the Regina General Hospital for their work and support.
