Roy Sebastian Schoenthal, late of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away on March 2, 2024 at the age of 53 years.

Roy is survived by his father Alphonse Schoenthal; his three beautiful daughters Oshanna (Adam) Toto, Reesin (Terrance) Kaiswatum and Hope Faith Joy Cardinal; six grandchildren Natalie, Bentley, Aryana, Kylie, Legacy and Taya; siblings Fabian (Tasha) Schoenthal, Chris Schoenthal, Jody (Calvin) Kaiswatum, Martin (Jessica) Neumann, Kassy (Dale) Atkinson, Niomee Neumann, Peter Shing and Dorielle Shing; his stepfather Dwayne Ross aka Chooch; as well Roy was loved by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and he had a lot of wonderful friends that loved and admired him throughout the years.

Roy was predeceased by his mother Annette Ross; nephew Anthony Schoenthal; grandparents Orval (Marie) Schoenthal and Joseph (Eva) Lapierre.

Roy was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on March 12, 1970 to Alphonse and Annette. As a child Roy was a mischievous kid, he was competitive and not always a team player. That didn’t change much as an adult. As a young boy Roy liked playing with his cars, going out to the lake, swimming and fishing. Both as a child and as an adult Roy loved to play pranks on people. The more he freaked you out the funnier it was to him. Roy’s adventurous ways followed him to adulthood. He had many different jobs but as being Roy’s way he wasn’t one to settle. He was more comfortable doing hands-on work. One definitely could say Roy was a character whether he was making you laugh, teasing you or trying to get you to join him on an adventure that you may be questioning afterwards. He also had a very caring side to him. Roy has begun his journey to be reunited with his Mom, she was one of his favourite people and they shared a very close bond.

Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at 702 Sangster Boulevard, Regina, Saskatchewan.

Roy will be missed by all that knew him.
