On Thursday, September 24, 2026 Ross passed away accidentally doing what he loved, helping someone.

Ross was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and grew up on the farm. His family later moved to Regina where Ross attended Scott Collegiate. After graduation Ross worked a few different jobs, finally landing a job at SaskTel washing vehicles. He moved up the ladder and proudly worked as a linesman until health issues required him to retire in his 50s. Ross loved his work there and told many stories of places he helped bring communication hardware to.

Ross was always volunteering, he spent decades with the Northwest Soccer Association, Elections Canada, mowing the park at Tyvan, etc. He helped his father on the farm and later his brother who still runs the family farm. Ross was always happy to lend a hand when a need arose.

Ross was predeceased by his parents Stewart and Gertrude; his beloved son Kelly and special friend Mackenzie, his dog. He is survived by his loving daughter Natasha (Greg); his sister Marlene (Neil); his brother Allan (Erin); and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. We grieve the loss of a kind and gentle man but take comfort knowing he made a positive impact on communities and people he was around.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
