Rose Lorenz

The family of Rose Lorenz are deeply saddened to announce her passing on August 18, 2026 at the age of 86.

Rose was predeceased by her husband, Stan in 2015 and her son Aaron in 2024. She leaves behind her loving family…. daughter Val (Howard) Brightman and granddaughter Tabitha (Brad) Goodman, sister Joyce (Laird) Senft, brothers Jim and Gordon Wallis; also daughter-in-law Marilyn Lorenz, sister-in-law Wanda Konkin, brother-in-law Ed Lorenz, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Rose was a kind, caring, friendly person and loved all people and animals, especially cats. She was full of energy and adventure and always ready to go somewhere. She was a wonderful cook and worked in many restaurants and a nursing home cooking and feeding people. She was generous, selfless/ready to help others, such a hard worker and never complained about life or pain.

She loved all sweets and dessert was the ‘Main Course’ for her.

Many thanks to Parkside Special Care Home, Regina, SK for the wonderful care they provided Rose, especially during her final week, and to all her friends there, including her special roommate Janice, who brought friendship and companionship to her days.

As Rose requested, there will be no funeral. A private family burial will be held at a later date. In keeping with Rose’s love of desserts, have something sweet, think of Rose and remember her with a smile. She will be deeply missed and remembered forever.
