It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Leonard Pfeifer on May 14, 2026 at the age of 68 in Regina, Saskatchewan, after a short battle with cancer
Born on July 22, 1957, Ron spent his life embracing the beauty of the Canadian landscape, building a successful career, and spending time with his family. Ron and Tammy would both tell you that they are most proud of their three children and the lives they have built for themselves.
Ron was a natural businessman with an entrepreneurial spirit and an innate ability to connect with people. His career journey began in sporting goods and later transitioned into a 40-year career in real estate. Ron was known for wearing comfortable clothes rather than suits. Always preferring jeans and cowboy boots. He loved mentoring young, new agents and gathered countless lifelong friends through both his business and sporting endeavours.
An avid outdoorsman, Ron found true peace in nature. In his younger years, he enjoyed swimming, water polo, canoe trips and especially camping and hunting. Later in life he enjoyed sledding in the mountains, quad-riding around Saskatchewan, fishing trips with Royal LePage, and dreaming of a log cabin in the B.C. interior. Yet, as much as he enjoyed being in the mountains, his heart truly belonged to the open prairie skies of Saskatchewan, and he loved nothing more than driving home into that wide-open horizon looking for animals, especially in fall, his favourite season.
Ron was a man of many interests. He was a self-taught guitar player, lover of 70s music, always reading, often extensively about world history and spent hours studying his family's genealogy. Of course, we can’t forget his love of dogs and watching his children’s sporting events.
Ron was predeceased by his father Leonard Pfeifer. He leaves behind a rich and loving legacy, including his mother Edith; his siblings Shelley and Darrell; his beloved wife, Tammy of 45 years; their three children and five grandchildren: Matthew (Nicole) and their child Isla, Sara (Connor) and their children Maddox and Izabella, Daniel (Clara) and their children Kadence and Aiden. He will also be dearly missed by his cousins, nephews, and many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would instead ask that a donation to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation be made in Ron’s honour. At a later date, the family will have a Celebration of Life to reminisce and share stories of Ron’s life.

Ron and I became good friends that started at a Salmon fishing trip with RLP at Campbell River. I know his love for wildlife was strong and I will always remember Ron for always letting me know where I could possibly see Elk when I travelled anywhere Canada. Rest in Peace Ron.

Both Bob and I would send our heartfelt condolences to Tammy and family. We always enjoyed our times together and even though we haven’t seen each other in years every time you would run into Ron he always had the biggest smile and hello. He will be missed by all who knew him.
