Lallier, Roger Roland

November 26, 2025

Roger Roland Lallier

It is with the deepest of sorrow that we announce that Roger Roland Lallier passed away on November 26, 2025 in Saskatoon, SK after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was predeceased by his loving parents Armand and Therese. Roger leaves behind his brothers Louis (Darla) and Marcel (Gay); his sister Joanne (Monty); as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family who will cherish his memory dearly.

Known by many endearing nicknames (Mr. AA, Rockin’ Roger, and Roger Rabbit to name a few) Roger was deeply devoted to the Saskatoon Alcoholics Anonymous community, where he found friendship, strength, and purpose. He particularly loved meeting with his “coffee groups” at Burger King, Midtown Plaza, and “Timmie’s”. He had a passion for music, Karaoke, and dancing. His commitment and presence touched many lives in the local AA fellowship, making a lasting impact on those around him. He was a unique individual who embraced life to the fullest. He was a kind and gentle soul who will be missed by all who knew him.

Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations may be made in Roger's memory to the following: Saskatoon AA organization (donations by AA members only) or Hospice at Glengarda, Saskatoon, SK (https://sphfsk.ca/hospice/donate/).

These gestures support a cause Roger held very close to his heart, continuing his legacy of hope and recovery for others, and provides excellent, crucial, end-of-life care for many.

ONE DAY AT A TIME Those we love don’t go away They walk beside us every day Unseen, unheard, but always very near Still loved, still missed, and still so very dear

We are so sorry to hear of "Roger Rabbit's" passing. We spent a lot of time together in early recovery until we moved back to the farm. Whenever we ran into Roger we were always met with a big smile and a giggle. His energy was magnetic and he will be greatly missed. Heaven gained another AA angel. We will miss you my friend

We were saddened today when we heard of Roger's passing, he was always such a joy to see. I know we all shared the same smile when Roger stopped by to visit us here. We will remember him from his excellent impersonation of Archie and Edith Bunker's "All in the Family Theme Song" it was a sort of trade mark for Roger and he was great to visit with. We will always remember Roger with a big smile. We extend our condolences to Roger's brothers and sister and his extended family. It was great to celebrate his birthday with him at St. George's hall and meet his family. R.I.P. Roger. Now you'll be able to sing your heart out with all your karaoke friends who passed before you.

I met Roger just when he came into the program. He was a man who loved to laugh and share his laughter with others. When it came to his recovery or the program Roger was a dedicated man. He did many 12 st calls with out even knowing he was doing one. People would reach out and Roger was always there to share his experience, strength and Hope. However he was a quiet man at times, Roger and myself shared a lot with each other. Roger loved babysitting our little dog Harley and she just loved Roger. We shared many special moments with Roger at our place over a meal or BBQ. Roger always expressed his love of his family, who he cherished dearly. Roger will surely be missed. Until we meet again Roger. Keep that upstairs meeting in order.

I'm in shock to hear of Roger's passing. I first meet Roger in the Halfway House where we both started our journey to sobriety, this was over 30 years. He was always so happy to see me, and I lit up when he'd greet me with a huge smile. Rest in peace my dear friend.

A unique and gentle man who, with little of his own, would give everything he had to help someone else who needed it. A source of strength for others, the loss of his influence and character will leave a gaping hole in the lives and memories of so many who knew him, both family and friends. Understatement of the decade... "He will be missed".
