Raymond “Ray” Seib, late of Lang, Saskatchewan and formerly of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, passed away on June 15, 2024 at the age of 90 years in the Hill Top Manor, Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
Ray is survived by his best friend, partner and love of his life for almost 42 years his wife Wendy; Ray’s pride and joy his grandson Christopher Seib; his son Dale Seib; his sister Vivian Seib; as well as numerous friends and family.
Ray was born in the North Battleford area and grew up on a farm near Ruddell, Saskatchewan. He was so proud to have been a Registered Psychiatric Nurse for 35 years. His kindness, caring and knowledge helped many people have a better life. His other love besides Wendy and Chris was working. Whatever he did it was done to perfection with much love and caring. The world has lost one of the very best.
It was Ray’s wish there will be no service. Instead, he just wanted people to be kind and caring to each other. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Ray’s memory may be made to Saskatchewan MS Society or Saskatchewan Cancer Agency
Ray and Wendy would like to thank all the wonderful caring staff at Hill Top Manor. You are amazing people who go the extra mile in making your resident’s lives a good one. Thank you.

I’m gonna miss grandpa but he was always such a great and caring gentleman, I remember when I caught my first fish with him and how happy he was. I tried to pass the rod off to another kid we were with but he made me reel it in and I will never forget that. It’s because of him I love spending time outside fishing and hiking. I will always remember his love of the outdoors and the lessons he taught me whenever I could see him.
