Obituaries

Raymond “Ray” Charles Zerr, late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, Saskatchewan on July 24, 2024 at the age of 79 years.

Ray was predeceased by his parents Frank and Amelia; his brothers Ken and Jim; sister-in-law Cecilia.

Ray is survived by his son Blaine; siblings Pat, Linda and Bernie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In his early years he worked at Goldmans Auto Parts. After that he was a self-employed truck driver for Canada Messenger until his retirement. Ray enjoyed anything to do with fixing and maintaining vehicles. Ray was also an avid hunter and fisherman. The happiest times for him were spent with family and friends.

A special thank you to Monika and staff at Kozy Korner Care Home for the care they have shown to Ray the last ten years of his life.

At Ray’s request there will be no service. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial donations in Ray’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
