It is with extreme sadness and broken hearts we announce that Quincy Grohs, beloved husband to Carmen, proud and loving Dad to Cash and Cohl, stepdad, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, grandpa, cousin and good friend to so many passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026.

Quincy was born on January 17, 1972 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his grandparents John and Louise Grohs, Mike and Una Kolenich, and his Aunt Sandra Hynds. He is survived and will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Carmen, sons Cash and Cohl, furry buddy Tig, stepson Kyle Hildebrand (Jessica) and grandchildren Kamdyn, Karson, Karder, Kailey, sister-in-law Wanda Hildebrand, his parents John and Margaret Grohs, sister Andrea Gibson (Darcy), nieces Kayla, Deleah (Taylor) and nephew Jared (Consuela), as well as his great-nephews and nieces Walker, Axten-Beau, Houston, Oden, Bronxton, Oaklyn and Arla, his Uncle Norm and Aunt Eleanor, Uncle Sam Hynds, numerous first cousins and many friends. We were not expecting or prepared to lose Quincy so soon. He had been in complete kidney failure for almost two years, and on dialysis 4 times a week. Given his health issues which were complicated by diabetes and neuropathy, it had been a difficult time for Quincy. We are told he passed away from natural causes and did not suffer in any way.

Quincy loved Carmen, Cash and Cohl, and his furry buddy Tig with his entire heart and soul. He loved his entire family, his many friends, band mates and his Grimstone fans with all of his big heart. He loved hard and protected his loved ones fiercely.

His love of music and everything Dodge/Mopar was a big part of his life and brought him so much joy. His dream of having a rock band as a kid became a reality and he spent many years as a very successful drummer with his band, Grimstone. They were an awesome local band with a big following of fans that were entertained for many years with great music. Once he met Carmen and they had their family with Cash and Cohl, they became his first love and his priority in life. He was a devoted husband and father. His sense of humor and stories he loved to tell about good friends from days gone by will never be forgotten. He made us laugh so hard!! He was a hard worker and every employer he ever had thought the world of him. He was loved by all that knew him and will be missed more than words can even express. He leaves behind a legacy of love so deep which will live forever in our hearts.

A very special thank you to the management and staff at YQR Regina Airport for everything they have done for Quincy. They have truly gone above and beyond for him and his family. He loved his job at the airport very much and all the people he had the pleasure to work with. Thank you to the Hemodialysis Unit at the Regina General Hospital for taking care of Quincy during his weekly visits for dialysis.

A Celebration of Life for Quincy will be announced at a later date. Rest and rock on in peace dear Quincy. We love you so much!!!
