Pauline Wild

Pauline Wild (nee Reiss), born January 1, 1928, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025 at the age of 97.

Pauline lived a full and happy life centered on family. She cherished her years on the farm, was a generous community supporter, and drew from her strong faith. Pauline was known for her love of baking, cooking and storytelling, she loved reminiscing about the old days and amazed everyone with her sharp mind and exceptional memory for dates.

She is survived by her children, Diane (Gordon) Schaeffer, Judy Dielschneider, Don (Laurie) Wild, Dave (Carolyn) Wild, daughter-in-law Donna Wild (wife of her late son Murray), her brother Ed (Trudy) Reiss. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, with her long time wish for twins in the family coming true on November 16, 2025.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank (1984), her son Murray Wild (2025), daughter-in-law Delphine Wild (1995), son-in-law Peter Dielschneider (2020), her parents and siblings. Pauline will be remembered for her warmth, strength, deep faith, and devotion to her family and community. Her love and laughter will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew her.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to all who offered prayers, support, and kindness during this time, and to the staff at Echo Lodge Care Home in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan for their compassionate care for mom.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Odessa, Saskatchewan. Interment will take place at a later date in Holy Family Cemetery, Odessa, Saskatchewan.
