June 22, 2024
Mary Chernoff passed away on June 22, 2024 at the age of 89 years.
Mary loved to be outdoors, enjoying walks in the park, gardening, playing tennis and riding her bike well into her eighties. Earlier in her life, Mary loved to play the accordion and was the proud owner of a vintage clothing store in Regina, Saskatchewan. She travelled across Canada to visit relatives and to care for her elderly parents, as well as to France to visit her son David and his family. Mary was passionate about healthy eating, making weekly trips to the farmer’s market to cook only the freshest food. She led a healthy, active life until the age of eighty-nine, ending after a brief battle with leukemia.
Mary was predeceased by her loving son David Carlson; mother and father Molly and George Chernoff; her brothers Nick, Sam and Walter; her sister Vicky.
She is survived by her son Robert, Patricia; daughter-in-law Jacqueline; brother-in-law Don (Elizabeth); grandchildren Christine (Rick), Elysa (Vlad), Delphine, Cedric, Don (Elizabeth), Kaden and Nevaeh.
Mary’s love, kindness and passion for life will be greatly missed by her surviving loved ones.
A special thank you to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre and Renaissance Retirement Residence in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Dear Robert and family a message to let you know we had been keeping in touch with your mom over the years. She had been such a Blessing to us when we were young children. A trip we took to Winnipeg . She taught me how to make lemon pie. She had so much patience with us she sent us pictures of our times we spent together. We loved her dearly.
