Marjorie Keenan (Margie Balog) was born October 25, 1936 near Lafleche, Saskatchewan. She sadly passed away September 16, 2025 in Regina, Saskatchewan at the age of 88.

Marjorie lived a long and loving life. She worked as an X-ray technician until marrying the love of her life, George Keenan, in 1957. Together, they shared many happy years of marriage until George’s passing in 1995. Marjorie was a mother to her two daughters, Diane and Donna, whom she cherished deeply. The loss of her daughter Donna in 2024, at the age of 60, was a profound heartbreak for her.

Marjorie was a devoted and cherished Nana to Connor (Kristen) and Kirrah (Damon), and a proud Great-Nana to little Josie. Her life centered around her family and her beloved dogs, both of which brought her immense joy. Marjorie played an especially important role in Connor and Kirrah’s lives, helping to raise them and creating countless memories together. She was a constant, loving presence where it was rare to not see her for more than a couple days. Those who knew her will remember her for the deep care, warmth, and love she shared with everyone around her.

May Marjorie rest in peace, reunited with her beloved husband, daughter, and dogs. In her final days, she was blessed with precious moments: witnessing Kirrah and Damon’s wedding, hearing Josie share sweet stories, and spending time with Connor, Kirrah, and Damon, listening to them talk and share memories until her very last breath. She left this world surrounded by the love of those dearest to her.
