It is with sadness that the family of Margaret “Peggy” Killingbeck announces her passing on May 22, 2026, at the age of 73 years.

Peggy was born in Hungary in 1952 and later made her home in Canada, where she built a life grounded in love for her family, resilience, kindness, and compassion for others. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose strength and caring nature touched many lives. She treasured time spent with family and friends and found joy in life’s simple moments — sharing stories, laughter around the table, cooking, baking and making sure those she loved were cared for. Peggy will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, determination, and the deep love she carried for her family.

Peggy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald Levi Killingbeck.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Andrea, Mike, Ken (Angela), son-in-law Graham; her brother Peter; her grandchildren Brody, Tianna, Kiarya (Isaac), Victoria, Kallie, Alivia; her great-grandchildren Ava, Isabella, Tahlia; as well as extended family Joanne, Murray, Mathew (Rachel), Michael, Nicholas; and dear friends Susan, Wes, Mindy. Peggy also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

No memorial service will be held. Cremation will take place.
