Obituaries

It is with deep sadness that the family of Margaret Chibi (nee Benyei) announce her peaceful passing on September 27, 2024 after a two-year battle with dementia.

Mom was predeceased by her husband Albert of 40 years on December 24, 1997. She leaves to mourn her passing, her 2 sons, Ron (Shelley) and Kelly (Donna); her 7 grandchildren Andrew (Rikki), Matthew (Katie), Rebecca (Jon), Triston (Crystal), Kelsey, Dryden (Alexis) and Brett (Jasmin); 7 great-grandchildren Jordan, Rylie, Kerecsen, Kaden, Zackary, Jaxon and Kayson; brother-in-law Leonard (Rose Marie) Chibi, sister-in-law Gizella Buckshaw; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and her best friend of many years Gizela Kiss.

Mom was interred alongside Dad in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Regina, Saskatchewan on October 11, 2024.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Sunset Extendicare for the care and compassion they provided.
