Lawrence Andrew Morrison

With sadness we share that Lawrence passed away at the Regina Pasqua Hospital with his wife by his side on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at the age of 73.

Lawrence was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia where he worked for the Railway Police before coming to Regina, SK to join the Regina Police Service in 1976. He was a police officer for 27 years, a career he found most rewarding.

Lawrence is survived by his wife of nearly 48 years Bonnie (McTavish), his son Ian and his grandchildren Kianas, Kaleigha, Kaelen, Landon and great-grandson Eric Jr. who always brought a smile to Papa’s face. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Gordon and Heather Russell; his Cape Breton family sister-in-law Carolyn Morrison, his brother and his wife Dave and Liz Morrison and their family.

Lawrence was predeceased by his daughter Courtenay (2020); parents Neil and Rene Morrison; his brother Neil Morrison; his in-laws Rae and Pearl McTavish.

In keeping with Lawrence’s wishes there will be no funeral service.

Lawrence asked that his son and grandchildren remember him with love and laughter.
