June 16, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Wayne Sazinski on June 16, 2026 at the age of 70.
Larry was larger than life and he will be remembered for his sense of humor, his willingness to help anyone in need, and the kindness he showed throughout his life. Whether sharing a joke, lending a hand, or spending time with family, he brought warmth and laughter to those around him.
For many years, Larry worked as a City of Regina transit operator where he was known for his dedication and friendly nature. Outside of work, he enjoyed playing darts, spending time outdoors, and listening to music. His greatest joy was being with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
He will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend, Gayle Heglin; their little Westie Benson; their daughter Chelsey (Adam); grandchildren Reid and Thomas. Larry's son Chris (Amanda); granddaughter Anna and daughter Amanda; grandchildren Henry and Lennon; his mother Katherine; siblings Cheryl and Dave; and many extended family members and friends.
Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements have been made. Forever loved, always remembered, and profoundly missed.

We are so deeply sorry for your loss. Larry was an amazing, good and funny man.
Those we love remain with us For love itself lives on, And cherished memories never fade Because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be More than a thought apart, For as long as there is memory, They'll live on in the heart.
