Kimberley Nicole Anderson (nee Carr)

Kimberley Nicole Anderson (nee Carr), late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully at the Regina Pasqua Hospital on June 7, 2025, following a 30-month battle with Breast Cancer at the age of 43.

Kimberley was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on December 25, 1981, to Vicky and Mike Carr. She attended Fairhaven Public School and Bedford Road Collegiate in Saskatoon and Campbell Collegiate in Regina. Growing up in the Fairhaven Community of Saskatoon, Kimberley was active in softball, Brownies, Guides, and Scouting. She developed an interest in fashion and theatrical make-up in high school. Kimberley established a strong social conscience early in life and was always concerned about the welfare of others, which often extended to animals. Kimberley held strong opinions and convictions which she was not afraid to share. Whenever and wherever she saw an injustice, she spoke up.

Kimberley was a proud and successful graduate of the Hairstyling and Cosmetology Program at the Marvel Beauty College, becoming a journeyperson in the field in 2007. She commenced her professional career right after graduation working at Solutions Hair Design for 18 years. Kimberley had a wonderful career and cliental. She participated in many competitions and won many awards for her talent and ability to make people beautiful. Kimberley was always known to light up the salon with her laughter. She had a great ear for listening and chatting with her clients.

Kimberley married Ryan Anderson on October 31, 2014, and together they had one child Quinn Anderson and two stepchildren Sidney and Dexter. Kimberley was a Rockstar mom/stepmom, remembering special events, making sure grandparents were always in the loop, volunteering her time at M.J. Coldwell school and participating as the treasurer of the SCC. She believed in taking personal responsibility to build a better community and always spoke up to express concern and advance the interests of those who could not.

Kimberley enjoyed the arts, and was well known for her Christmas PJ’s, special mementos, and crafts. Kimberley used her wonderful skills and kind heart to work with children with special needs that required extra care in having their hair cut. Kimberley was known for her patience and understanding in these matters and was admired by others in the community for her efforts.

In concert with Ryan, Kimberley enjoyed a scary story, the spookier and gorier the better! Together their favourite day of the year became Halloween and Kimberley would plan for weeks tobe bring something new into their celebrations.

Kimberley was the planner in the Family devoting time to help her mom make family events special for all concerned. Together with Vicky she designed numerous items of special significance for friends and family members, as well as teachers, coaches, and caregivers.

Kimberley is survived by her loving husband Ryan Anderson; her children Quinn, Dexter, and Sidney; her brothers Justin Carr, Brendan Carr and Aaron Carr; sisters-in-law Andrea, Michelle, and Lin; nieces Vienna, Norah, and Sloan; nephews Kingston, Emerson, and Brooks; parents Mike and Vicky Carr and Ken and Jan Anderson (all of Regina).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the upstairs lounge at the Turvey Centre, 100 Armour Road, Regina, Saskatchewan.

The family would like to offer our thanks and gratitude to the many people who have reached out over this difficult period to offer their kind thoughts and prayers. Your love and support has been invaluable and appreciated.

In leu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Kimberley’s name to the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, Regina, SK or the Palliative Care Unit 3A in the Regina Pasqua Hospital.

Dear Mike and family, I am heartbroken over your loss. In my humble heart I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. Mike, as a person who has been fortunate enough to experience the care, compassion and nurturing that you so generously shared with me which I am sure was a shadow of your love for Kimberly as her father; I can say with absolute conviction that she lives on in your nurturing of us. Thank you for sharing your love of her with us and know that she lives on eternally in yours and your family’s kindness forever. May you find comfort in knowing that many many lives have been enriched by having shared Kimberly’s love. With all my prayers, Sammi
