Bell, Kevin

August 6, 2024

Kevin Bell

Kevin Bell unexpectedly passed on August 6, 2024 at the age of 59.

Kevin is survived by his niece Billie Bacon; his sisters Lois Missens and Melissa Lewis (also known as Missy/Moola); his brother Bill; his niece Madi Chapman; his nephews Luke Chapman, Logan Chapman and Dave Missens (Jeremiah); his cousins Leigh (Murray), Daniel and Jackson; his car club the Hooligans; his Harley and vintage car communities; and his numerous friends. Kevin was predeceased by his parents Winston and Peggy Lewis and Stepmother Dorothy Kittleson.

It could be said that Kevin had the kindest, most generous soul out there. Kevin's life purpose was to contribute positively to society. Whenever someone required assistance with welding projects, mechanical help or any other task, Kevin readily volunteered his services. In instances where he lacked the expertise or resources to resolve a problem, he always "knew a guy" who he could, and would, call for assistance.

During the early stages of his career, Kevin discovered a passion for education and dedicated several years as a school teacher, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the lives of his students. Numerous individuals have expressed gratitude for Kevin's guidance, crediting him with helping them transform their lives and achieve their current successes. Even after leaving the teaching profession, he remained committed to sharing his knowledge and expertise with anyone eager to learn.

In addition to his dedication to education, Kevin harbored a profound passion for motorcycles and vintage cars. He consistently engaged in restoration projects or assisted his friends with their own endeavors. When not engrossed in mechanical tasks, he actively participated in various motorcycle and car events, even if they required substantial travel time. With the arrival of spring every year, Kevin eagerly prepared his Harley Davidson motorcycle for the riding season, relishing the opportunity to embark on scenic journeys with friends while listening to his favorite Playlist.

Over the years, two of Kevin's favorite pastimes were acquiring new tattoos or engaging in humorous commentary on various social media platforms. Despite his self-described status as a "tattooed freak" who rarely displayed emotions, he consistently demonstrated his feelings through his actions.

Kevin has made significant positive impacts on numerous lives and has consistently strived to improve the world whenever possible. As we navigate this new reality without his presence, let us honor his memory by emulating his spirit of kindness and making a positive impact on the world.

Kevin’s Last Ride will take place on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. starting at Prairie Harley Davidson, 101 Carson Road, Emerald Park, Saskatchewan. Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Prairie Harley Davidson. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted at the fundraising barbecue following the celebration of life. These donations will be divided between Juvenile Diabetes research, Ovarian Cancer research, and the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Kevin's honor.

Sad to hear of Kevin’s passing. 99% of my interaction with Kevin was through our respective jobs. Weekly for the last many years. Always an enjoyable conversation.
Can see how much he meant to all that loved him.

Worked with Kevin at Ross Machine Shop. Hadn't seen Kevin since I moved from Regina 9 years ago. He messaged me last summer for a visit on his way to Calgary, but timing didn't work out. Now I am shocked to find out he has passed. Hugs and Condolences to his family.

Kevin was a larger than life personality. I worked along side him for many years and I quickly learned what a giving person he was. Others projects always came ahead of his own. My hotrod wouldn’t exist without his help. I will cherish the memories of our time working together and the road trips we shared. Rest easy Kevin
