April 13, 2026

Kenneth Mervin Mydonick was born June 2,1954 in Kamsack, Saskatchewan and passed away with his wife and daughter by his side on April 13, 2026.
Ken was predeceased by his parents Tony and Florence Mydonick; his sisters Connie Leis and Gloria Leis along with his brother Randy Mydonick. He is survived by his loving wife Susan Mydonick and daughter Natasha Mydonick. He was a proud husband, father and brother to Rose Poulin, Paul, Philip and Peter Mydonick.
Ken grew up in Kamsack, Saskatchewan which he would often share stories of his wild days, car cruising and adventures he shared with his brothers and long-time friends. It was at this time he met his lifelong soulmate of over 50 years Susan and would eventually move to Regina, Saskatchewan where they would raise their daughter Natasha. He spent his time playing baseball, badminton, sledding and basketball with her. Taking her to every sporting event on the weekend and being her biggest cheerleader in all events of her life.
Ken was a skilled painter owning his own company and eventually moved to his retirement job of 20 years at the Regina General Hospital where he met some amazing friends and spoke often of their coffee room chats and jokes. As he moved into retirement, he made beautiful memories with his wife Susan in Osoyoos, British Columbia where they would walk the beach, visit wineries and enjoy the nice weather together.
He loved his family cat Boots and always cherished a great meal with family and friends. You always left a few pounds heavier after leaving one of his suppers or house visits. He was an avid car fanatic. You will never see a cleaner vehicle then Ken’s. He will be greatly missed and thought of with every classic Chevy that passes.
As per his request there will be no formal service, but the family will host a summer gathering with all his favorite foods and invite loved ones to attend. If you wish to commemorate Ken a donation may be made in his honor to the Regina Food Bank.
