It’s not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena. Whose face is marred by dust, sweat and blood; who strives valiantly: who errs, who comes up short again and again. There is no effort without error and short-coming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions, who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at best knows in the end of triumph of high achievement; and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly. So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory or defeat.
Predeceased by my mother Myrna Marion McLean (Swenson) in 1990. Survived by my daughter Kristie, and the loves of her life, my grandchildren Nina and Edison; father Ray Swenson; brother Kim Swenson and his family; sister Terry Kokol and her boys.
I never knew true unconditional love until I became a grandma. Sensitive, animal lover and metaphysics. My life took on another level once I started Reiki. Reiki unchecked my knowledge of the other side, energy and love. My sensitivity is what I am known for. Crying when the grandkids hug me, or seeing an animal in distress causes me distress. Love for all my friends, laughing until we cry – cry until we laugh. Remember those times and hold them close, feel the love all around you, for you are all beautiful souls inside and out.
If you’re so inclined and would like to celebrate my life. I request a Dance Party along with Rip-L-Chips, dill pickle dip and laughter.
My body may be gone but my soul is dancing with you while you are dancing for me/with me. Saying my name in Joy. I am just on the other side of the veil, I’m right here.

I met Kelly through her Mom and Dad many many years ago. A beautiful little girl full of spunk and giggles. I wish I would have known her as an adult as it seems her beautiful personality had not changed. Sending my sincerest condolences to you, your family and your Grandpa Ray.

Seeing that beautiful smiling face once again brought back many memories. I had the joyful experience of working with and friendship of Kelly at RBC. She was truly one of a kind, she was caring, funny, laughing and full of spirit. Her little girl was her whole world and I'm sure being a grandma was her greatest gift. You will be missed funny lady. I met Kelly when she lived across the street from me many years ago. We were neighbors, friends and also worked at Co-operators together. Kelly was one of a kind. A big bright smile, kind words and she always knew when you seemed to need a hug. My condolences to Kristie, her grandchildren and all Kelly's family.
