Judy Lynn Campbell, October 31, 1946 - November 24, 2024
It's with a heavy heart that we have to share the very sad news of our Mother's passing. She spent her last days in the palliative care unit at the Pasqua hospital where she was cared for by the loving nurses and doctors that made her comfortable and tended to her every need and then some. In her words she said "I feel very relieved being here" We can't say enough about how special each and every one of them are "Thank you from the bottom of our hearts."
Mom was not alone, Lori, Samantha Adam and Taylor were all at her bedside as she crossed over to begin her long and wonderful journey that has only just begun where she will be welcomed by so many who will keep her close and warm.
For those of you who knew our Mom, she was kind, loving and always there for anyone who needed her. She was strong, handy and very independent. One might say that you best be on your toes if you should challenge the likes of her as she was firm in her ideals and that's just one of the many things that made her an extra special person. She was beautiful, smart and loved her whole family more than words can say. She took great pride in knowing that she instilled the fundamental beliefs and morals that shape a good person and she made sure that we were all remembering the importance of being good and held us to the task.
We all will miss her calling on our birthdays and without even saying hello begin to sing in its entirety "Happy Birthday to you" in order to help us celebrate our special day. It's hard to say goodbye for sure and we’re not sure that it will ever be easy to accept that she is gone. Time has a way of easing the strain and we feel comfortable knowing that she is free of pain, at rest, and that she is surrounded by all her loved ones that had left before her. Knowing that gives us confidence and reassurance that she is happy and ok.
We’re sure she is already preparing a warm welcome for each of us as we all too one day will meet the same fate and be together once again. We won't say goodbye but we will say "We'll See you again," and every so often hum her favorite song that she sang to all the kids, "You are my Sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know dear how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away." Until then Mom...
We love you with all our hearts ❤️.
