Sadly, Jackson Bishop and Jenn’s children Jordan, Ashton and Hailey Myers must announce the sudden passing of their beloved partner and mother Jennifer Layla Corey in Regina Beach, Saskatchewan on April 14, 2024.

Jennifer was born on November 28, 1981 in Saskatoon and spent most of her life here in Saskatchewan. For the last 12 years of her life, Jenn was Jackson’s partner, sharing equally the ups and downs they experienced during that difficult time. More recently, they experienced a new and better life of sobriety and were very happy and Jenn began to spend more quality time with her children.

Jenn loved Jackson and her kids and she loved her pets. Last year she became the proud owner of a St. Bernard pup, Libby. She told anyone who would listen that her finding Libby was “meant to be,” and surely that was true. Boog and Purrfect rounded out the raucous household. It was a “love me, love my pets” kind of place. It is sad that, just when she was at her happiest, she was suddenly taken from us all.

In addition to Jackson and her three children, Jenn is survived by her sisters Donya and Shianne, and her mother Beverley.

Jackson and her family want to thank the first responders and the members of the Lumsden RCMP for their kindness and efficiency on that horrible day. Those wishing to remember Jenn are welcome to make a donation to either the Regina Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.

A Memorial Service for Jenn will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the South Shore Elementary School, Regina Beach, Saskatchewan.
