It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Gertrude Graham on August 3rd, 2026, at the young age of 76.

Jean was born on April 27th, 1950, in Norquay, SK to Jaffray and Nelda Graham. She grew up in Pelly, SK where she attended both elementary and high school. She later moved to Regina where she raised her three children and met her partner Barry. Jean's vibrant personality and love for socializing resulted in many years spent working at Smitty’s, where she was known as “Jeanie” by her regulars. She had a special place in her heart for the elderly which led her to the Regina Lutheran Home where she worked as a Care Aide. In addition to working at the home, Jean spent many nights working at “The Pump Roadhouse”. She ended her working career with the Saskatchewan Health Authority in Home Care.

Known for her strength, warm heart and vibrant spirit, Jean brought joy to those around her with kindness and compassion. She was quick witted and had a friendly sense of humour, allowing her to strike up a conversation with anyone who passed her by. If you weren’t listening close enough, you would miss out on a good one liner. Jean had a love for dancing which she held on to until her final months.

Jean was predeceased by her parents, Jaffray and Nelda Graham, her younger brother, Wayne Graham, and her granddaughter Jane Ostapowich.

Jean will be greatly missed by her partner, Barry Miller; her brother, Gordon Graham (June); her daughter, Shawna Moran (Jason); her grandchildren, Jordan Wall (Danielle), Austin Wall (Payton) and her great-grandchildren Walker and Weslie Wall. Jean is also survived by her daughters Stacey Ostapowich and Barbara Ostapowich; grandchildren Dustin Moroz and Kendra Fales; Barry’s children Robert, David, Sherry, Stephen and Theresa; and Shawna’s step-children Kaleb, Jared and Kelsey.

Although dementia gradually changed the course of her life and took away many of the memories she held dear, it never diminished the impact she had on those who knew her. We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, free from the burdens of the illness, and reunited with those who went before her. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported and cared for Jean throughout her journey with dementia. Your compassion and kindness brought comfort during the difficult times and will be remembered.

A private interment will be held for the family.
