April 29, 2026

Holly Georgina Hart peacefully passed away April 29, 2026. Holly was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, as the middle of three children. She was raised in Arbury, Saskatchewan and she started her education in Serath, Saskatchewan. Holly finished her education in Southey, Saskatchewan graduating in 1975.
Holly then married the love of her life, Glen Hart, in 1976. In 1981, Glen and Holly moved south of Raymore, Saskatchewan where they started a convenience store and welding shop. The buildings may be gone, but their legacy lives on, as their land is still known as “Hart’s corner”. Glen and Holly left Raymore in 1993 and spent some time in Cupar, Southey, and Regina before finally settling down in the quaint little village of Markinch, Saskatchewan.
Holly had a full career as a special care aid at many facilities within the province. Holly retired after twenty-five years in the industry.
Holly spent her last decade fully immersing herself in creating Markinch into a beautiful and clean village for everyone in the community to love. Holly had a great talent for singing and songwriting on her acoustic guitar. It was never a proper visit until Holly graced us with her beautiful voice and playing skills. She adored her VLTs, and if she found one, be prepared to order another drink! Holly could always be found around Markinch watering, planting flowers, and pulling weeds. She also enjoyed acting with the local drama club. She played a few characters over the years, her most recent just a couple months ago as a very memorable nun that people will soon not forget.
Holly was predeceased by her parents George and Eileen Sebesten and her brothers-in-law Eddie Hart, Roy Parmley, and Delmar Hart.
Holly is survived by her husband Glen Hart; her children Raquel (Chris) Dyck, Jonathan (April) Hart, and Michael Hart; her grandchildren Austin Hart, Keegan Hart, Renae Dyck, and Wyatt Dyck; siblings Brian (Judy) Sebesten and Kelly (Lorrie) Sebesten. Holly will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Holly’s Life will be held at a later date.
Holly’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all loved ones and those who have been there for Holly until her last days.
Holly’s memory will forever flourish in people’s hearts, and nobody will forget her beautiful, kind heart.
