March 6, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory Parisian after a long battle with kidney disease and a failed kidney transplant, with his family by his side on March 6, 2024 at the age of 67.
Greg’s memory is cherished by his loving wife of 46 years Myrna; daughter Karla (Jason); son Chad (Jess); grandchildren Bradley, Hailey (Matt), Hannah, Hunter, Olivia, Jakoby and Carter (Deceased); mother Stella; father Edward (Deceased); siblings Mark, Brenda, Leland (Shari), Kirk (Rhonda), Curtis (Deceased) (Sharon) and Shelley; sister-in-law Laurie Stewart (Harvey Deceased): half-brothers Howard (Deceased) and Richard (Deceased); goddaughters Blare Stewart, Symara Petrowsky; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and beloved dog Nugget.
Greg was a loving and selfless husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who would help anyone and everyone that needed it. Greg loved to spend time with his family, had a love of classic cars, tinkering in the garage and drinking his morning Tim Hortons coffee with Myrna. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and car shows but mostly driving around in his 63 Chev Impala. Before Greg’s health started to deteriorate, he was working on building his new car a 55 Chev Sedan Delivery.
Greg worked as an iron worker in his younger years and then as a custodian for 23 years with the Regina Catholic School Board. Greg was more than just a custodian as he was involved with multiple school activities, including coaching which he led the girls volleyball team to win the city championship. Greg left a lasting impression on everyone who had the chance to meet him and be a part of his life. After Greg retired due to health issues, he enjoyed all seasons at the cabin where he would look after the beach and ensure it was safe for everyone.
Before Greg’s health issue arose, he and Myrna were able to vacation down in Arizona 4 years in a row with Laurie and Harvey where Greg would attend Barrett Jackson car shows and spend hours on end in junk yards collecting parts and accessories for his projects.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Celebration of Greg’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Northeast Community Centre, 200 Broad Street (attached to Imperial School, use entrance on north side of school and follow the driveway to the back doors), Regina, Saskatchewan.

Im so so sorry for your gigantic loss. Life is forever altered - with Greg and without him. Instantly I smile when I think of Greg and I can imagine a hundred images of him (also joined by Karla) cracking a joke. He knew how to lighten a moment and keep energy movin on up. I hope you're all finding opportunities to laugh through the trauma. Holding you all in my heart. I'm so grateful for all of the kindness and love your family has shown me over the years. Big uncomfortably long hugs Myrna, Karla and Chad...pass them on to the grandkids. 🫂
