March 22, 2024
Gladys passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024 at the age of 100 years.
Gladys was hardworking and a woman of strong character. She was very active in her church and her faith was very important to her. Gladys lived by the motto “You just have to make the best of it!” Gladys enjoyed her garden, always sharing produce with family and friends. Any opportunity for a card game was always welcomed. Gladys loved her family dearly and always looked forward to their visits.
Gladys was predeceased by her parents Emil and Freda; husband Grant; son-in-law Donald; granddaughter Kelly; and numerous other relatives. Gladys is survived by her children Dennis (Lillian) and Linda; grandchildren Stacey, Michael (Trina) and Kurt (Amy); great-grandchildren Bailey (Nathaniel), Carter, Skylar, Duncan, Emmett and Mason; great-great-grandchildren Emma, Micheal and Serenity. Gladys is also survived by her sister Grace and sister-in-law Karen.
We wish to thank the staff at Ivy’s Personal Care Home, Earl Grey, SK and Wascana Grace Hospice, Regina, SK for their excellent care and compassion.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
