September 9, 2026

Al Cripps, 80, late of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, at Wascana Grace Hospice, Regina, Saskatchewan.
Al was born on June 14, 1946, in London, Ontario, but lived most of his life in Regina. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching football (the Roughriders, of course), baseball, hockey and basketball on television. His love of the games compelled him to coach and manage many youth teams in the City of Regina.
Al was predeceased by his parents, John (Jack) Cripps and (Beatrice) Joy Cripps. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Glen Weitzel; his nephew, Greg Weitzel, his niece and her husband, Lindsay and Andrew Kuiack; and great-nieces and nephew, Abbie, Mason and Rylee. He is survived by numerous cousins in Regina, Ontario and British Columbia.
Al was very active in the community where he lived and will be especially missed by his good friends and neighbours in Regina.
Special thanks to the staff at Regina General Hospital for the excellent care and their kindness to Al and his family.
No service will be held.
