Obituaries

It is with much sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandpa/poppa, brother, uncle, and friend Gary James Curtis. Gary passed away with his children, siblings, and Cathy by his side the morning of October 7, 2025 at the age of 68 in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Gary was predeceased by his father George Donison and mother Jessie Curtis (Hugh Curtis). Gary is survived by his children Jennifer (Austin, Brandyn, Ethan, and Ella), Jill (Riley and Lorney), Kari (Evan Bringedahl) and their daughter Maeve and his son Michael; his sister Pat Boyes (Mike) and children Shane, Matthew, and Colby; his brother Barry (Mona) and children Justin, Landon, and Courtney.

Gary was an avid sports fan, who loved anything Montreal Canadiens, San Francisco 49ers and even though he may not admit it, he also loved the Edmonton Oilers and Baltimore Ravens, thanks to his son and son-in-law. Gary loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, attending concerts, Roughrider games, and hockey games.

Dad will be deeply missed by his children and grandchildren. Our world is forever changed, but we will carry him with us forever.

We would like everyone to join us for a Graveside Service in Bethune Cemetery, Bethune, Saskatchewan at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025 (meet at cemetery gate), followed by a Celebration of Life in the K+S Community Hall, Bethune, Saskatchewan at 2:00 p.m. We ask if you can to wear a jersey or your favorite sports memorabilia.
