October 29, 2026

Frank passed away peacefully on October 29, 2026, at the age of 84, surrounded by the love of his family and leaving behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured forever.
Frank is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Leona; his children Audrey (Doug) and Robert (Nichole); his cherished grandsons Brett (Jessica), Riley (Liah), Kian, and Jayke; and his precious great-granddaughter Aria, who brought him endless joy.
He was predeceased by his infant son Norman; his beloved grandson Ryan LaBrash; his parents Victor and Mary; and his brothers Max and Jim.
Frank is also survived by his sisters Rose and Gertie (Roger); his brother Bernie (Diane); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
A quiet and humble man, Frank never sought recognition or praise instead, he let his actions speak for him. He believed in hard work, loyalty and taking care of the people he loved. Whether he was putting in long hours at Ipsco, where he worked for 46 years, or tending to the land he loved so much, Frank approached everything with dedication, pride, and determination.
Farming was more than a livelihood to Frank; it was a passion that shaped much of his life. He found satisfaction in honest work and took great pride in building a life for his family. His strong work ethic and values have been passed down to the generations that follow him and will remain part of his lasting legacy.
Family was at the centre of Frank's life. Some of his happiest moments were spent watching his son and grandsons play hockey. Whether standing at the boards, sitting in the stands, or talking about a game afterward, those were the moments that filled him with pride. He also enjoyed baseball and treasured every opportunity to watch and support the people he loved.
Frank was not a man of many words, but those who knew him understood the depth of his love. His quiet presence brought comfort, his steady guidance provided strength and his unwavering support could always be counted on. He taught by example and showed his family what it meant to work hard, stay humble and care deeply for one another.
The memories he leaves behind are filled with laughter, lessons, stories and love. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, especially those who were blessed to call him husband, Dad, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa.
His quiet strength, gentle heart and enduring love for his family will never be forgotten.
Forever loved, forever missed and forever in our hearts.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses on Unit 6F at Regina General Hospital, the staff of Wascana Rehabilitation Hospice and especially to April for the exceptional care, kindness and compassion shown to Frank and his family during a difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.
In keeping with Frank's wishes, no funeral service will be held. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
