Frances was born on the farm in Serath, SK and unexpectedly passed away November 27, 2024 in Regina, SK at the age of 82.
She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Ernie; son Darren; father Adam and mother Minnie. Fran is lovingly remembered by her children Leanne, Dwayne (Sherri), Michelle (Mike) and daughter-in-law Rutchel; her cherished grandchildren Tiawna (Rob), Matthew, Jadyn (Tristan), Amanda, Jared, Riley and Kasey; as well as her siblings Sieg (Diane), Lawrence (Robin), Sheila, Eric (Trina), Ed (Val) and Rose.
A true social butterfly, Fran had a passion for connecting with others. She treasured her weekly card games with “the ladies” and her regular breakfasts with her siblings. A devoted patron of the arts, Fran rarely missed a show at The Globe Theatre. She also loved to travel, embracing every opportunity to explore new places - whether it was a quick trip to Cochrane, AB or adventures abroad in Italy or Aruba. When longer trips were no longer possible, she found joy in hearing about others’ adventures.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Tara, Pat, Chantel, Kay, Milli, Dr. Robin, Dr. Baird and the entire staff at the Regina Pasqua Hospital ICU. Their compassionate and unwavering care was deeply appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fran’s memory may be made to the Regina Pasqua Hospital ICU Unit.
Fran’s ever-present smile, free spirit and willingness to try anything at least once will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Life will be held in May of 2025.

My deepest condolences to Francis's children and extended family. So sorry for your loss. I cleaned Francis's home when I worked at the Regina Seniors Citizens Centre and most recently for the last time in middle of November of this year.
She was such a nice kind lady and I enjoyed our short visits while I was in her home cleaning for her. I will miss her.
