Obituaries

Elizabeth Norma Wood (Serson), late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025 at the age of 94 years.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Donald Wood; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her 3 children Beverly Hastings (Leonard), Ronald Wood (Marie), and Shelley Sentes (Rick); 6 grandchildren Sherilyn (Scott), Valerie, Angela (André), Donivan (Amanda), Jennifer (Shaun), and Dominique (Kurtis); 9 great-grandkids and 3 great-great-grandkids; her brother Winston (Shirley); and two sisters-in-law Madge and Marjorie; as well as numerous extended family members.

Mom’s passion was teaching; she started in a one room school house and continued teaching in the Regina Public School system for more than 40 years. She enjoyed travelling across Canada, throughout the US including Hawaii, as well as visits to Scotland, England, Belgium and Holland. In her retirement she remained very active both at the senior centre and Wintergreene. She loved music and dancing. Mom created beautiful ceramics and rock paintings.

Memorial Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be live streamed at Christ Lutheran Church Facebook page. Private family interment to follow at a later date.
