May 10, 2025
It is with the heaviest of hearts and great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Corey Lee Frank on May 10, 2025 surrounded by family and close friends at the young age of 39.
He was predeceased by his father Mark Frank; his grandparents John and Mary Bonyai and Elizabeth and Albert Frank; as well as his uncle Doug Frank. Corey will be profoundly missed by his mother Donna (Gord) Fleming; his siblings Maegan (Andy) Polishak, Tamara (Kevin) Humenny, Robyn (Josh) Fleming and Shawn (Jenna) Fleming; his beloved nieces and nephews Callie, Ivy, Jett, Rowan, Hudson, Blakley, Christopher, Andy, Kane and Sloane; as well as cherished aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Corey had an immense passion for the outdoors. As a kid, he enjoyed spending time on his grandparent’s farms. He would often be seen happily lending a hand or other times stirring up mischief with his cousins. Growing up he also enjoyed fishing, this became his true favourite pastime.
Corey was a kid at heart. At family gatherings, he could be spotted running around, playing tag or hide and seek with his beloved nieces and nephews.
Generosity flowed through him; he was always delighted and ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends in need.
Our hearts are heavy with grief and sadness of his sudden loss. Yet, we take immense pride in his memory, as he was able to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff on SICU at the Regina General Hospital for the outstanding care they provided Corey. Also extending sincere thanks to Regina General Hospital ER staff, Balgonie fire /EMS and Stars Air Ambulance.
To our dear family and friends, we are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of love, support and thoughtful gestures you have shown us during this challenging time – your kindness means the world to us.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and close friends.

Donna & family, it is heartbreaking news to read of Corey’s passing. A parent should never have to say goodbye to their children. Remembering when our little boys run across the street to play together. If we could only turn back time. 💕
