November 1, 2025

It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend Aaron Arthur Short. Aaron passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 40 in Fillmore, Saskatchewan.
Aaron is survived by his mother Sandra (Kelly) Connelly; father Ken (Fermina) Short; his brothers Jason Short, Jeramie (Heidi) Short and Chris (Naté) Short; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Aaron loved dirt bikes, skidoos and auto mechanics. He also loved raiding his mom’s fridge when possible and spending time with his friends. Always optimistic, he had a zest for life like no other. Ultimately, his best love was for his service dog Zues.
Aaron will be dearly missed by his many friends and family and all those whose hearts were touched by his laughter and generosity.
A heartfelt thanks to all those who offered their love and support during this time. In lieu of flowers and cards, consider a memorial donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association Saskatchewan or share a memory of Aaron with friends and family.
A Private Service to Celebrate Aaron’s Life will be held at a later date.

It's with utter and deepest condolences, to Ken, Jason, Jeremey, Chris and Sandra!!
I grew up with Aaron in Stoughton, he was the same age as me, and my mom single mom at time, we spent a lot of being babysat, by Ken and Jason but we always had a good time with them in way they were like another family to myself, sister and mom. We always fought over who got to pick the A-track song for the ride to school in Kens big yellow boat. Aaron was a friend throughout life. And Im so sorry for all your loss, I truly know how you all feel in this loss, just remember, his suffering is no more, he is now at peace and in a better please, and alwats remember that through this tough time and may it help to ease the pain, knowing many care. Lots of Love Ashley. Xoxo
