Shaw, Tige

February 1, 2024

Tige Shaw

Heaven has gained a special soul. Tige passed away on February 1, 2024. Tige was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on September 8, 1972 at the Regina General Hospital.

He was predeceased by his father Stanley Luzny Jr. and his sister Andrea Shaw. He is survived by his wonderful children Chase, Kiera, and Tige Jr.; his mother Margaret and loving sister’s Vanessa and Cheryl all of which he had a special bond; sisters Sherri, and Lisa and many nieces and nephews.

Tige was a loving and caring father supporting his children greatly throughout their lives - from his texts every Monday saying have a great day or being invited over for supper for one of his famous home-cooked meals. Dad was always there when called and wanted to talk; and made sure we knew he loved us unconditionally with all his heart. His children were his proudest accomplishment. He was always the loudest Dad cheering on his children at their sports games. He had a passion for cooking and was a talented chef, with a love for trying new things and teaching his recipes to his children. Tige was a gentle and kind soul who gave the warmest hugs and always knew how to put a smile on someone’s face. Tige had a love for animals and was a huge fan of the Montreal Canadiens and the Dallas Cowboys and never wavered in commitment for his teams. In the famous words of Bob Marley…. “Don’t worry about a thing cause everything little thing is gonna be alright”. We cherish you in our hearts and in all the memories you made with us.

Rest Easy.

A Private Family Service is being held and an interment will be held at a later date where he will be laid to rest with his father.

Like so many most of my time with Tige was at a younger age and surrounding the cadet program. Always had a smile, a joke and the ability to keep you wondering what's next!! Your time on this earth was too short, yet a grand presence that have left so many of us with fond memories. Rest easy buddy! To his children and family, I keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
