July 27, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sherilyn “Sherry.” She traded her invisible wings for her real ones when Jesus brought them on the morning of July 27, 2023.
Sherry was known for her lovely smile and cute manner of talking. She made friends everywhere she went. She made people feel welcomed and cared for. She had a compassionate nature from the time she was a child which was appreciated by all who knew her. She was a hard worker in her places of employment. She didn’t complain. She went above and beyond in her various tasks with a smile.
She will be remembered with affection and greatly missed.
Sherilyn is survived by her mother and father Debbie and Wayne Hooper; her sister Jennifer Hooper Cheney and only nephew Creston Cheney; her grandmother Mary Dyck; her uncles, aunts and many cousins will miss her as well; her friend Chelsey and her 2 girls Essence and Isla were also loved by her.
We thank all who loved her and supported her over many years. She is in a place of peace and rest. She will always be cherished in our hearts.
Private service will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Sherilyn's memory may be made to the Regina Humane Society

We grieve with you and especially when the natural order of passing (of the older dying first) gets all messed up. Hugs to you all.
