Obituaries

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arlene on April 20, 2023 after a brief illness.

She was predeceased by her parents Theodore and Velma Siminiuk, late of Dahinda, SK; her siblings and their spouses Vanelda (Bill) Burgess, late of Saskatoon, SK; Ardeth Siminiuk, late of Kayville, SK; Melba (Gordon) Sandick, late of Calgary, AB; and Cheryle Siminiuk, late of Regina, SK; as well as Rayleen Burgess of Saskatoon, SK.

Arlene leaves to mourn her husband of 52 years Ernest Dimen of Regina, SK; daughter Shelley (Randy) Klein of Regina, SK; son Doug (Cari) Dimen of Regina, SK; granddaughter Tina (Ryan) Scheirer of Broomfield, Colorado, U.S.A.; grandson Austin Dimen of Regina, SK; her brother Dayle (Linda) Siminiuk of Moose Jaw, SK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Special Thanks to Dr. M. Zarkovic and the staff of 3B Pasqua Hospital and Dr. C. Johnson and the staff of 3A Pasqua Hospital for their exceptional compassionate care and support. As well, we extend a special thank you to Almassy Metz Funeral & Cremation Services for their professional care given to Mom and our family.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Turvey Centre, 100 Armour Road Highway 6 North, Regina, SK (Casual attire is welcomed).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cosmopolitan Learning Centre or to the Hospitals of Regina Foundation in support of Palliative Care.
