Leader, Pamela "Pam"

February 6, 2024

Pamela "Pam" Leader

Pam Leader left us peacefully at the age of 77 with family by her side on February 6, 2024 to be with her son, Kirk and to watch over all of us. A remarkable woman whose kindness, compassion, and love touched the lives of all who knew her. Pam was more than just a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend; she was the embodiment of selflessness and grace. Pam was loved by all who knew her.

Pam’s journey in life was defined by the love she shared with her husband Rick of 58 years, and her children Heath and Stacey, who found their own paths to happiness alongside Bonnie and Joe, respectively. Pam’s heart held a special place for her beloved son Kirk, whose memory we hold dear today. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and her unwavering support and guidance were the pillars of their lives.

For over two decades, Pam dedicated herself to nurturing the hearts and minds of children at Rink Avenue Daycare, where she worked after raising her own children. Her gentle touch and caring nature provided a safe and loving environment where every child flourished under her care. Pam’s commitment to the well-being of others was a testament to her compassionate spirit and genuine love for humanity.

But Pam’s generosity extended far beyond her professional life. She was a beacon of light in the lives of her friends and extended family, always ready to offer a listening ear, a comforting embrace, or a helping hand. Pam’s acts of kindness and generosity left an impact on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Pam’s legacy of love and compassion lives on through her grandchildren, Brett (Maria), Kage (Daphne), Sable, Zachary (Claryssa), as well as her great-grandson, Dre. Each one carries a piece of her spirit forward, embodying the values she held dear.

Pam’s sister Lynn was there when she needed her the most, sharing in both joys and sorrows, creating memories that will endure the ages.

Pam also held close to her heart, all of her sisters and brothers-in-law, as well as her numerous nieces and nephews.

Let us take comfort in the memories and love we shared, and the lessons she taught us through her example. Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.

The family would like to thank Wascana Rehabilitation Centre in Regina, SK where Pam resided for the last year and a half. They quickly became part of her family, caring for and showing love for Pam, which will always be cherished.

The family will be planning a Celebration of Life in the Spring of 2024.

Rest in peace, Pam. Your legacy of love and kindness will continue to illuminate lives, guiding us through the darkness with the light of your memory.

Heath,

While looking for your mother's obituary I found your brother's. What a life he had!

After reading your mom's, I can understand why.

I am happy for you that you had them. I am sure your memories will fill you with warmth and gratitude as memories of my late husband do.

We are all thinking about you at 6711.

Respectfully, Rhonda Nightingale
