It is with great sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of Lyla Arleen Grad on January 28, 2024 at the age of 76. Lyla was born on April 25, 1947 in Regina, SK.
Lyla was predeceased by her husband Ken Grad; her parents RJ and Ruth Sauer (nee Seibert); siblings Randy Sauer and Debbie Schulz. She is survived by her daughter Kendra (Pieter), grandchildren Colton (Camila), Jillian (Daniel) and great-grandchildren Lucy and Leroy; daughter Leasa (Todd) and granddaughter Erin; son Evvan (Dawn), grandchildren Nichole (Maverick), Jacob and Christopher; daughter Brook (Jeff), grandchildren Capri, Codee (Logan) and great-grandchildren Ella, Karter and Hayze. Lyla is survived by her sisters Jeanette (Roger) and Marian (Archie); her brothers Butch (Donna) and Ryan (Kelly); sisters-in-law Rosemary Grad (Bud) and Myrna Young; brothers-in-law Robert Weselowski and Dan Schulz; along with many special nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank the staff at the Regina Pasqua Hospital, Regina General Hospital and Indian Head Hospital for their compassion and excellent care.
Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Theatre Lobby of the Conexus Arts Centre, 200 Lakeshore Drive, Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, Mom requested that you take a friend out for lunch.
