Wolfe, Lorne A.

Lorne A. Wolfe, late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away on July 31, 2026 at the age of 71 years. He was born on March 5, 1955 to A.Carl and Elfrieda (Schneider) Wolfe.
Lorne was a man who loved deeply and cared for others with compassion and love. He celebrated his faith and was a faithful servant. His creative talents included a love for music, crocheting quilts and celebrating others by baking and decorating their favourite cakes for birthdays and special occasions. He loved to learn and enjoyed cheering for his home team, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and would faithfully tune in when they would play the Calgary Stampeders, just to tweak his best friend and nephew.
He was predeceased by his father A. Carl Wolfe, mother Elfrieda nee (Schneider), brother-in-law Harold G. Weber, and nephew Cory C. Weber. He leaves to cherish his memory, siblings Joan Weber and Joyce Wolfe (Kent Coleman); nieces Connie Weber, Kathy (Archie) Weber Power, and nephew Colin (Olivia) Weber; grand nieces Miranda, Simone and nephew Liam; special friends Al Brown and sons Adam and Matt, Matt, Jenn, Alyssa, Judy and Starla; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends.
As per Lorne’s request, a private family interment will occur at a later date. The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Regina Pioneer TCU for the comfort and compassionate care they provided.

Lorne was liked by all and such a good servant at church. I recall him doing soundboard too for a Women’s event I led. He started out where I did at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. At Glen Elm, he made banners to decorate the church and I helped him create one of them. We have not seen him in many years but glad we knew him well in one chapter of our lives. In the early 2000s while attending celebration church we enjoyed playing uptempo RnB gospel music for the congregational praise and worship time. Lorne on electric bass and I on trumpet 🎺and flugelhorn Ulla on piano 🎹 and Greg on lead guitar. 🎸 Cheryl leading singing and solos. What a group it was

My sympathy to Lorne's family. I worked with Lorne for many years at CVA and he taught me the finer points of cribbage we played together every day. Loved his sense of humor and caring heart. I will miss his friendship.

My sympathies to Lorne’s family……I worked with Lorne for a number of years at the Pasqua Hospital. We were good friends but lost touch after I married although I did see him a few times over the years. I have so many great memories of this gentle sweet man. I am so sad at his loss.

Deepest sympathy to Lorne’s family. Lorne and I worked as a team at Sasksurplus, a program of the government of Saskatchewan.
