Lauretta Agnes Schaeffer (Eberle) passed away with God’s love and family at her side. She was born on October 29, 1928 and died August 22, 2023 at the age of 94.
Lauretta was predeceased by her husband Nick in 1994; her parents Thomas and Katherine Eberle; her brothers Alexander and Daniel Eberle and sister-in-law Vera Eberle; her father and mother-in-law Jacob and Martha Schaeffer; brothers and sisters-in-law Fred and Veronica Schaeffer, Martin and Florence Schaeffer and Emil and Paulena Winnicki; nieces Chantel Winnicki and Chesney Eberle and nephews Wayne Schaeffer and Denis Schaeffer.
Left to mourn are Lauretta’s brother Paul Eberle, her sister Patricia Eberle and sister-in-law Rose Eberle.
Her children Douglas and Jeanne Schaeffer and children Michelle (Rod) Lenz and their children Hallee, Abigail and Noah Lenz, Daniel (Colleen) Schaeffer, Alison Poelen and her children Blake, Jody and Regan Poelen, Michael (Jennifer) Schaeffer and their children Andrew and Nicholas Schaeffer, Brittany Happy and her son Alex Happy.
Jeanette and Leonard Schaeffer and children Lynette (David) Herauf and their son Cyril, Amanda (Marc) Berube and their children Ethan Berube, Emerson Schaeffer and Emery Berube.
Dianne and John Dornstauder and children Candace Dornstauder (Keefe Huddleston), Lorna (Brian) Ayres and their children Trissa and Skylar Ayres, Victoria (Michael) Keck and their children Logan, Brianna and Ciara Keck, Christopher (Mandy) Dornstauder and their children Anna and Jonah Dornstauder.
Thomas and Carmela Schaeffer and children Nicholas Schaeffer (Deidre Leier), Janelle (Dustin) Amy and their children Macie, Ava and Olivia Amy, and Trevor Schaeffer.
As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Vibank, SK on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a private family interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Vibank, SK.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Regina General Hospital and the staff at the Transition Care Unit at Regina Pioneer Village for their compassion while caring for our Mom.
