Feil, Korinne Elizabeth

March 10, 2023

Korinne Elizabeth Feil

Korinne passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Regina Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit 3A at the young age of 61. She was predeceased by her mom Deanna Meyers and is survived by her four loving children that she and Clarence Feil had together: Shauna (Ryan) Luedtke and grandson Leighavo and granddaughter Mia; son Landen (Nicole) and granddaughter Maeve; son Bradey (Sydney) and granddaughters Fletcher and Tristen; and son JJ; her siblings Denise (Elwood) Scott, Durand (Tamra) Fritz, and Leanna (Jimmy) MacFarlane; dad Ken (Wilma) Fritz; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Korinne was born in Cupar, SK and lived quite a few places in her young life but eventually ended up in Regina where she lived much of her life. About 20 years ago she moved out to Regina Beach, which suited her personality perfectly. She loved living at the beach for the beauty and peacefulness it brought to her life. In later years, she took up painting and created so many beautiful pieces which were probably inspired from living in such a serene setting. Many of Korinne’s beautiful paintings are displayed in the homes of family and friends and we know that they will forever be cherished.

SLGA was where she worked extremely hard and developed many friendships with her coworkers. She will be remembered for being a kindhearted and fun-loving woman. Korinne was the type of person who could quickly turn strangers into lifelong friends no matter where she was.

If you ever wanted to hear a hearty, boisterous, contagious laugh, Korinne had it and that was a signature trademark of hers! She was very often the life of the party and could turn an ordinary day into a fun filled day full of memories.

Family and friends to this day can still thank Korinne for the nicknames she assigned to many of them. Many of these nicknames have stuck even to this day.

Another signature trademark were her hugs which were second to none and she was always there when you needed her.

Of all the things in her life, she so loved her children and especially her grandchildren. Her eyes would light up whenever she spent time with her grandkids, and they meant everything to her.

Korinne may be gone but she will never be forgotten. Her spirit will live on in all of us. This is not “goodbye” but “till we meet again.”

A Celebration of Korinne’s Life will be held in Celebration Church, 3130 Renfrew Crescent, Regina, SK on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. To ensure we have adequate space and refreshments for all those who wish to join us, please RSVP your attendance numbers to shaunafeil@hotmail.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in Korinne’s memory may be made to the Regina Food Bank.
