McDonald, Katherine

August 15, 2023

Katherine McDonald

Katherine was a special head of her family - always kind and caring.

She is survived by her husband Ken, daughter Kelly, daughter Meeghan (Kelly); grandchildren Ryan (Whitney), Kyle (Jaimie), Devon (Tleesha), Kaine, Ashley and Jacob; beloved great-granddaughter Paytyn; son Barry (Sharon) and great-grandson Austin.

She was predeceased by her parents, 3 brothers, many other family and friends and youngest daughter Erin (2018).

Oh how much she will be missed. Her singing, whistling and dancing rarely stopped. Her strong sense of love for her family and her kind heart. She taught so much to so many - remain calm she'd say. She will now sing and dance with Erin. Her common sense, her pride in every task she took on - from raising her children to keeping her home spic and span; from canning to butchering; driving school bus to helping others. She did it all with gusto and made it all look effortless.

She rose to the top with her thoughtfulness and generosity. Always making sure to provide top notch care to her family - her #1 priority.

We are lost without you - the soundtrack of our lives. Miss you, love you and we'll see you again.
