My thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this time of grieving. I met Karen at Matthew's Thunder football games as our sons played together. I could see the pride she had for her boys. She always had a smile on her face. Keri Ziegler

I was so sorry to hear of Karen’s passing. As my hairdresser, we shared many stories over the past 25 years. I always enjoyed listening as she told me of her sons and their hard work ethics and success in both school and sports. Having a son myself who received an engineering degree, I continued to tell her what a great degree it was to achieve and how it opened many doors in the corporate world. My deepest condolences to her sons and the entire family. She will be missed by many. RIP Karen. I will miss you.

Karen was my hair stylist for forty years. She was unfailingly warm and good humoured, cheerful, kind and friendly. I can hardly believe she is gone. I will miss her dearly.

I am deeply saddened by Karen’s passing, especially at a young age. I very much looked forward to my hair appointments with her because I really enjoyed talking with her. I appreciated her kindness, strength, hard work, and devotion to her family, dogs, community, and nature. I will miss her. My best wishes to her family and her dogs.

My condolences to Karen’s family, I was so shocked to learn of her passing. Karen and myself went to high school together then went on to Marvel to complete our hair dressing, we always shared many laughs together over the many years. Karen was certainly the life of the party and such an amazing friend to all, anytime over the years we bumped into each other we would reminisce and always shared a giggle about days past. My condolences to the Family. This was a very sad day when I heard the news of Karen's passing, way too young. She was always the life of the party. You had to be on your toes when she was around or get panted. She is missed and always will be. RI.P. my friend.

Our deepest sympathy to the Hajewich and Niels family, we have been her hairdresser client for 40 some years. Karen was a kind and very special lady we always had such good visits and Karen was a excellent hairdresser and I know she loved her job and everyone loved Karen. Our hearts are aching for Karen because she was so wonderful and special. We and everyone else are going to miss her dearly. Our prayers goes to Karen's two sons, dogs and all the rest of her family.
